Abstract

L'invention concerne la protection contre les surtensions qui peuvent apparaître, en cas de défaut d'isolement, aux bornes d'une charge normalement équilibrée par rapport à un ou plusieurs points de référence, alimentée par une source de courant continu à masse flottante. Elle a pour objet un dispositif de limitation comportant un circuit ballast à impédance variable se connectant aux bornes de la source de courant continu en parallèle sur la charge de cette dernière et un circuit pilote commandant la variation d'impédance du circuit ballast en fonction des potentiels par rapport à la masse, des pôles de la source de courant Elle s'applique avantageusement aux téléalimentations en courant continu notamment à celles des récepteurs d'une ligne de transmission par câbles.
