Abstract
Cette invention porte sur un procédé pour augmenter la filtrabilité et l'aptitude à la sédimentation d'une suspension de matière biologique macromoléculaire. Le procédé se caractérise par le fait que l'on ajoute à la suspension, sous agitation, une ou plusieurs enzymes, telles que des lipases, des amylases, des cellulases et des protéases, possédant le pouvoir de décomposer de la matière macromoléculaire dans la suspension, telles que des graisses, des polysaccharides, des protéines et des substances analogues. Il est convenable d'ajouter les enzymes en une teneur de 0,001 à 5 %, de préférence de 0,1 à 1 % de la quantité de matière solide. La température de traitement est convenablement de 5 à 70 degrés C, de préférence de 20 à 60 degrés C.
