Abstract

Un moule à fonte se compose d'une partie supérieure 1 et d'une partie inférieure 2. La partie supérieure 1 du moule est traversée par une conduite de fonte 4 qui se prolonge par une distribution de fonte 5 jusqu'aux pièces coulées 3. Un arbre fileté 6 comporte une roue dentée d'entraînement 15 qui est mise en rotation par une roue dentée de commande 16 pendant la coulée. Ces deux roues dentées 15 et 16 comportent une denture inclinée de sorte que, lors de la rotation de la roue dentée de commande 16 une puissance de poussée axiale s'exerce sur l'arbre fileté 6, qui compense pour l'essentiel les forces axiales de friction et d'adhésion s'exerçant sur ledit arbre fileté pendant la coulée.
