Abstract

L'invention a pour objet des polymères contenant des groupes amino-sulfures qui leur confèrent de la résistance au vieillissement. Ces groupes sont fournis par des amino-mercaptans comme, par exemple, le N-(4-anilino-phényl)-alpha-mercapto-acétamide ou le N-(4-anilino-phényl;-bêta-mercapto-propionamide; on les incorpore dans la réaction de polymérisation d'un monomère diénique, oléfinique ou vinylique en une proportion adéquate pour augmenter notablement résistance au vieillissement du polymère final. Utilisation des polymères ainsi obtenus pour fabriquer des garnitures d'étanchéité de joints et autres articles en caoutchouc capables de supporter une atmosphère oxydante.
