Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une mèche de fibres de verre à partir d'une source d'alimentation humide en mèche. On envoie une mèche humide à partir de la bobine de préparation vers une zone de turbulence d'un fluide, on entraîne la mèche à travers cette zone de turbulence du fluide en envoyant simultanément le fluide dans cette zone, on envoie du fluide dans la zone de turbulence dans une direction circulaire perpendiculairement au trajet de la mèche et à grande vitesse afin d'agiter la mèche ainsi traitée, on sèche la mèche ainsi entraînée et on bobine la mèche sur une bobine en couches successives de façon que les spires de la mèche soient en contact côte à côte dans chaque couche. Application : production de mèches de fibres de verre.
