La poignée comporte un levier d'avance du film qui, lorsqu'elle est montée sur le corps de l'appareil photographique, est lié au bouton d'avance du film de celui-ci par intermédiaire d'un mécanisme d'accouplement La poignée est en outre munie d'un bouton de déclenchement d'obturateur destiné à être lié à un mécanisme de déclenchement d'obturateur prévu dans le corps de l'appareil photographique au moyen d'un déclencheur à cable ou analogues.
