Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de fabrication, avec une grande précision dimensionnelle, d'un tube plastique ayant en coupe transversale une section ovale. Selon l'invention, on amène dans une cuve de refroidissement un tube plastique à section ovale et à l'état mou et qui est composé d'une portion de grand diamètre, d'une portion de petit diamètre et de portions de transition raccordant les deux premières l'une à l'autre, on refroidit le tube plastique dans la cuve de refroidissement en immergeant dans un bain de refroidissement la portion de grand diamètre et on soumet à une pluie d'un liquide de refroidissement la partie non immergée dans le bain.
