Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour déterminer une coordonnée de position sur une courbe. Ce dispositif comporte un étroit enroulement de grille, GgX, qui croise perpendiculairement la courbe et qui la recouvre; cet enroulement est divisé en groupes de segments conducteurs, qui se répètent régulièrement avec un espacement déterminé dans chaque groupe; une source de courant d'excitation 21-22 est connectée à GgX de façon à y distribuer le courant de manière que les différents segments conducteurs produisent un champ magnétique sensiblement sinusoïdal, la phase variant le long de la courbe avec une période correspondant à un groupe de segments conducteurs; ce champ induit, dans une sonde C un signal indiquant la position de C sur la courbe. L'invention est applicable notamment à un << digitaliseur >>, permettant de mettre sous forme numérique la position d'un point sur une courbe.
