Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de tomographie axiale. L'objet de l'invention est un système de tomographie axiale comportant des moyens de tomographie axiale pour la collecte d'une pluralité d'ensembles de données correspondant à la transmission ou à l'absorption d'une pluralité de faisceaux de radiations pénétrantes à travers une tranche plane d'un objet à analyser comprenant des moyens pour mettre en place un objet à analyser, des moyens de source et de détection pour produire et diriger un ou plusieurs faisceaux de radiations pénétrantes depuis la source jusqu'aux moyens de détection, à travers l'objet, et des moyens pour mettre en rotation (et éventuellement en translation) les moyens de source et de détection par rapport à l'objet, de façon à collecter une pluralité d'ensembles de données correspondant à la transmission ou à l'absorption par l'objet d'une pluralité de faisceaux de radiations pénétrantes. Application à la tomographie axiale.
