Abstract

Câble électrique destiné aux lignes de transport d'énergie électrique à haute tension ou aux lignes de distribution. Il comprend un conducteur 18 du courant électrique, une gaine annulaire 19 de masse entourant coaxialement le conducteur, une couche isolante 20 disposée entre le conducteur et la gaine, une enveloppe extérieure non métallique 21 qui entoure coaxialement le câble, et une couche 22 d'absorption de l'eau disposée entre l'enveloppe extérieure et la gaine de masse, de manière que la surface extérieure de cette couche 22 soit en contact direct avec la surface inférieure de l'enveloppe. La matière d'absorption de l'eau est un polymère pouvant absorber au moins 10 fois son propre poids d'eau. Domaine d'application : câbles de transport et de distribution de l'énergie électrique.
