Abstract

L'invention concerne un nouveau procédé pour préparer la gamma -lactone de l'acide hydroxy-17 beta oxo-3 17 alpha -prégnène-4 carboxylique-21. Pour préparer le composé désiré on utilise comme matière de départ l'androstène-4 dione-3,17 et l'éthynyl-17 alpha hydroxy-17 beta androstène-4 one-3 comme intermédiaire dans le début du procédé. Le procédé de l'invention convient particulièrement bien à la préparation industrielle du composé désiré qui est notamment utile comme intermédiaire de la synthèse de la spironolactone.
