Abstract

L'invention est relative aux articulations élastiques et aux procédés pour les établir. Dans une telle articulation, du type tourillonnant, à prévoir généralement entre un tourillon A et une pièce B engagée sur ce tourillon, on utilise deux manchons 3 et 5, le premier en élastomère, le second en une matière élastomérique et thermoplastique plus dure. Le manchon 5 est destiné à etre monté sur l'arbre A ou sur une pièce intermédiaire 6, avec formation de rainures et gorges 7 sur sa surface intérieure, pour faciliter la lubrification Pour la préparation de l'ensemble, le manchon 5 est constitué par une ébauche engagée sur un noyau muni de rainures et saillies, et le tout est monté dans un moule où l'élastomère 3 est introduit sous pression, ce qui a pour effet de déformer ladite ébauche et d'y imprimer les nervures et saillies. Application : articulations tourillonnantes pour véhicules.
