Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de chauffage et d'humidification pour un masque ou autre appareil respiratoire afin d'éviter les effets désagréables et nuisibles d'une respiration prolongée d'un air froid et sec ou autre mélange gazeux à respirer. Ce résultat est obtenu en injectant et en brûlant l'hydrogène directement dans le gaz à respirer à proximité du masque ou dans ce dernier. En plus de l'effet de chauffage, l'hydrogène se combine avec l'oxygène du gaz à respirer pour produire de l'humidité. Application aux appareils à utiliser sous l'eau ou dans l'atmosphère à n'importe quelle altitude, cet appareil pouvant être utilisé sans source d'énergie spéciale.
