Abstract
Procédé permettant de réaliser une diminution de la résistance à l'avancement d'un navire. Dispositif permettant de réaliser une diminution de la résistance à l'avancement d'un navire caractérisé par l'interposition d'une nappe d'air d'épaisseur réduite sous la coque. Ce dispositif est constitué essentiellement par une soufflerie comprenant deux types de soufflantes, les unes aspirant l'air directement à l'atmosphère, les autres puisant l'air déjà comprimé dans la nappe d'air située sous la coque et d'un ensemble de conduites d'air, de vannes de sectionnement et de distribution d'air automatiques. L'invention peut être utilisée sur tout navire, quelles que soient ses dimensions et ses caractéristiques, soit à sa construction même, soit par modification, au cours de son existence.
