Abstract

L'invention concerne un mécanisme métallique pliant équipant les meubles utilisables soit en banquette, soit en lit. Il se compose d'un élément de tête 1, d'un élément milieu 2 et d'un élément de pied 3, les éléments 1 et 2 s'articulant en 4, les éléments 2 et 3 s'articulant à chaque extrémité d'un élément intermédiaire 5 en 6 et 7. L'ensemble est monté sur des leviers oscillants 9 et 13 réunis entre eux par une barre 15 en des points respectifs 16 et 17 différemment distants des points 10 et 14 situés sur un piètement de base 11. Cette disposition provoque l'inflexion du point 4 pour le pliage à l'intérieur du meuble, les pieds milieu 21 et avant 22 étant repliés lorsque l'ensemble franchit la partie supérieure de la devanture. Le dispositif s'applique à la fabrication de canapés convertibles de style ou modernes.
