Abstract

L'invention a pour objet une installation comportant un four tubulaire rotatif, un prechauffeur qui est chauffé par les fumées du four et un autre préchauffeur qui est chauffé par les fumées d'une chambre de combustion placée en amont du four, l'un des préchauffeurs recevant le débit total des matières crues, tandis que l'autre ne reçoit qu'une fraction des matières prélevée sur le premier. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que les fumées sortant du premier préchauffeur sont aspirées par un premier ventilateur et mélangées, au refoulement de ce ventilateur, aux fumées plus chaudes sortant du second préchauffeur et un second ventilateur aspire la totalité des fumées ainsi mélangées. L'invention est utilisable en cimenterie.
