L'appareil de traitement biologique d'eaux résiduaires selon l'invention comprend, dans une seule cuve 10, une zone 38 de réaction biologique et une zone 40 de clarification, un dispositif 18 d'oxyhénation et des moyens pour maintenir une circulation d'eau dans la zone de réaction biologique, un déversoir 16 permettant au liquide clarifié d'être évacué par la canalisation 17 au même débit que celui auquel l'eau résiduaire pénètre dans le dispositif par la canalisation 13.
