Abstract

L'invention concerne une endoprothèse d'articulation comportant, sur une tige implantable, un tenon constitué par une matière ductile, sur lequel est fixé et ajusté un corps d'articulation sphérique et présentant un trou radial. Le tenon présente un évidement partant de son extrémité, par lequel sa compressibilité radiale est augmentée près de cette extrémité, les tensions agissant entre le tenon et la paroi du trou ménagé dans le corps d'articulation étant plus faibles que les tensions se produisant à l'extrémité d'un tenon plein, toutes circonstances étant égales. Utilisation notamment pour la prothèse de la hanche.
