Abstract

Procédé et dispositif permettant d'évacuer de l'air et des gaz à travers un moule en sable et au moyen desquels l'air se trouvant dans la cavité du moule ainsi que les gaz produits lors de la coulée s'échappent par des canaux d'évacuation d'air et de gaz vers le côté extérieur du moule. Les canaux d'évacuation d'air et de gaz sont formés, en même temps que les demi-moules, au moyen d'un élément de modèle flexible en forme de baguette qui présente une longueur suffisante pour s'étendre au moins jusqu'au voisinage du côté supérieur du demi-moule. L'invention est applicable d'une manière générale à des moules de fonderie en sable.
