Abstract
Coulage du métal en continu avec refroidissement par pulvérisation d'eau. Le dispositif comprend un moule tubulaire, des cylindres sous le moule pour en retirer la pièce coulée ainsi qu'un ensemble de pulvérisation d'eau de refroidissement. Cet ensemble comprend une arrivée d'eau 14, deux conduites horizontales de distribution d'eau entourant le moule 10 auxquelles sont reliées plusieurs conduites descendantes 34 comportant chacune à leur extrémité inférieure une buse 40. L'eau peut être ainsi pulvérisée sur toutes les faces de la pièce coulée lorsque celle-ci sort par le fond du moule. Ce dispositif permet de protéger tout l'ensemble de pulvérisation, sauf les buses, vis-à-vis des dommages qu'il pourrait subir sous l'effet de la chaleur et des projections de métal en fusion, lors d'une rupture de la pellicule solidifiée entourant la pièce coulée sortant du moule
