Abstract

Pièce isolante pour canalisations de matériau conducteur de l'électricité, comprenant des tubulures destinées à être raccordées à deux tronçons de canalisation, fixées mécaniquement l'une à l'autre et réunies de manière étanche, au moins l'une des tubulures étant enduite de toutes parts d'une couche isolante à l'exception d'une zone de raccord à un tronçon de canalisation de manière que ces tubulures soient isolées l'une de l'autre. La couche isolante déposée sur au moins une tubulure se compose de matière thermoplastique à base de résine époxyde réticulée par réaction d'addition avec un polyester contenant des groupes carboxyles. Application générale aux canalisations dans lesquelles les pièces isolantes doivent être très fortement serrées, cette composition de la couche isolante lui évitant de fluer sous les fortes compressions en surface.
