Abstract

Selon l'invention, on effectue en 9 la production électrostatique de fibres 16 à partir d'une solution de polymère dans une atmosphère évaporante constituée d'un gaz inerte ayant une concentration en solvant d'au moins 10 % de la concentration saturante (de préférence de moins d'environ 60 % de la saturation, par exemple d'environ 12 à 15 % de la saturation) et supérieure à la concentration explosive du solvant dans l'air (par exemple d'au moins 1,5 fois cette concentration explosive). Ce procédé s'applique en particulier à la formation de produits fibreux à partir de polymères élastomères.
