Abstract

L'invention concerne les silencieux pour jets de gaz. Il est décrit un procédé d'atténuation du son d'un jeu de fluide compressible, caractérisé par les étapes suivantes: a. Faire passer ce jet en un parcours d'écoulement à travers plusieurs étages de diffusion disposés en série dans lesquels la vitesse du jeu se réduit successivement; b. Maintenir de façon concomitante ce jeu dans un état exempt de turbulence à grande échelle, pratiquement dans la totalité au moins du parcours d'écoulement passant par les étages de diffusion, et c. Exposer le jeu, dans au moins un des étages, à une composition absorbante acoustique ayant des propriétés d'absorption du bruit à haute fréquence. Application aux silencieux pour soupapes de sécurité.
