Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à une couche d'isolation électrique pour câbles électriques, notamment immergés, capable de résister aux effets des très hautes tensions en courant continu. La couche est constituée par un enrubannage compact d'un film de polypropylène bi-orienté imprégné d'un gaz tel que l'azote ou l'hexafluorure de soufre. L'invention s'applique à tous câbles électriques fonctionnant en courant continu ou en courant alternatif.
