Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un élément chauffant en oxyde réfractaire et son procédé de fabrication. L'élément chauffant conforme à l'invention est essentiellement constitué par un agrégat de fibres ou de grains d'oxyde de point de fusion supérieur à 2 200 degrés C, plus particulièrement à base de zircone au moins partiellement stabilisée, cet agrégat étant poreux et comportant au niveau des extrémités de l'éliment chauffant une proportion d'agent de faible résistivité suffisante pour que la résistivité de l'ensemble << agrégat plus agent >> soit inférieure à 100 ohm-cm à 1 000 degrés C. Le susdit élément chauffant résiste à des chocs thermiques supérieurs à 200 degrés C minute pendant au moins 20 cycles.
