Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition pour faciliter l'adaptation des ruminants à un régime alimentaire très énergétique. La composition de l'invention renferme une culture bactérienne de Megasphaera elsdenii et d'un additif alimentaire pour animaux susceptible d'être ingéré; de façon particulièrement utile, la composition renferme également Selenomonas ruminantium. L'administration au début de l'adaptation des compositions de l'invention évite les symptômes d'acidose lactique.
