Abstract

La structure de support qui porte la plate-forme comporte une infrastructure sur laquelle prennent appui des colonnes descendant du pont, tandis que le pont repose sur le fût centraL Ces colonnes sont creuses et peuvent être lestées et délestées à volonté, permettant de régler élévation du pont au-dessus du niveau d'eau. Lorsque le pont est amené par flottaison à l'aplomb de la structure de support, les colonnes sont lestées au maximum et viennent se poser sur le support. Application aux plate-formes installées en mer, en particulier en vue de l'exploitation de champs pétrolifères.
