Abstract

L'invention concerne un dossier rabattable d'un siège d'un véhicule automobile par exemple. Le siège 3 est composé d'une assise fixe 5 d'un dossier rabattable 6 comprenant une garniture 7 est séparable de sa structure 8 en étant articulé à celui-ci autour d'un premier axe d'articulation 10 situé à la partie supérieure de ladite structure, elle-même articulée vers sa partie inférieure autour d'un second axe d'articulation 11 porté par le châssis du véhicule. En position rabattue la structure 8 vient reposer sur l'assise 5 et la garniture 7 est sélectivement verrouillable en rotation par rapport à la structure du dossier. L'invention s'applique notamment au transport de passagers en position couchée.
