Abstract
La machine comprend un bâti supportant un bloc portepoinçon, une bobine sur laquelle est enroulé un ruban métallique passant sous le bloc porte-poinçon, un dispositif assurant l'entraînement du ruban, et un magasin de pieces à marquer prolongé par une goulotte verticale. Sous ce magasin est monté coulissant un chariot animé d'un mouvement alternatif, dont la plaque supérieure est surmontée d'un plateau percé d'une fente transversale, monté coulissant dans la même direction que le chariot. Le plateau est déplacé en même temps que le chariot. Le plateau est déplacé en même temps que le chariot pour prendre en charge une pièce à marquer dans sa fente, lorsque celle-ci se trouve sous la goulotte, et l'amener sous le poinçon. Ensuite le plateau est arrêté tandis que le chariot poursuit sa course, afin de permettre la chute de la pièce marquée lorsque la plaque supérieure du chariot se trouve entièrement au-delà de la fente du plateau arrêté.
