Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation du protoxyde d'azote par dissociation thermique du nitrate d'ammonium dans une solution de sel ou un bain de sel à plusieurs composants. Elle est caractérisée en ce que ce procédé consiste à mélanger 1 partie de nitrate d'ammonium et 5 parties d'une solution de sel concentrée ou d'un bain de sel fondu, à maintenir le mélange ainsi obtenu à une température comprise entre 200 degrés C et 240 degrés C, au moins un des composants de solution ou du bain fondu étant un acide minéral, un anhydride d'acide ou un sel acide d'un acide minéral. Elle concerne la préparation du protoxyde d'azote.
