Abstract
L'invention a trait à un procédé d'utilisation de cendres volatiles provenant de centrales d'énergie ou d'usines d'incinération de déchets pour la fabrication de clinkers de ciment, et à une installation de mise en oeuvre dudit procédé On introduit à l'extrémité inférieure d'un four rotatif concurremment avec l'air injecté des cendres volatiles dont la composition minérale a été ajustée par adjonction de minéraux calcaires selon la composition desirée des clinkers, tout en introduisant à l'extrémité supérieure du four à contre-courant avec l'air un mélange de matières premières calcaires, siliceuses, ferrifères et argileuses adaptées à la composition désirée des clinkers. Application notamment à la fabrication de ciment à partir de cendres volatiles de centrales ou d'usines d'incinération.
