Abstract

Fabrication de blocs de propergols à double base par moulage à chaud. Procédé comportant a. la mise en place d'une ébauche de propergol dans un moule comprenant une cavité de moulage présentant une partie du profil extérieur de la pièce à obtenir et un poinçon mobile possédant le profil géometrique complémentaire de la pièce a. obtenir; b. la fermeture du moule, la mise en température du moule, du poinçon et de l'ébauche; c. le déplacement du poinçon dans ladite cavité de moulage pour comprimer et déformer l'ébauche à la forme de la pièce à obtenir et d. l'extraction de la pièce ainsi moulée, caractérisé en ce que, après la mise en place de l'ébauche, on ferme le moule de manière étanche et on fait le vide dans la cavité de moulage. Un tel procédé permet de travailler en toute sécurité, notamment à des températures supérieures à 85 degrés C.
