Abstract

Procédé permettant d'obtenir des p,p' -diphénols purs. Il consiste à disperser le diphénol impur dans l'eau, à chauffer la bouillie résultante, à ajouter un co-solvant à base d'acide carboxylique organique soluble dans l'eau, jusqu'à dissolution ou pratiquement dissolution de la bouillie de diphénol, à proximite ou au point d'ébullition de l'eau ou du système de solvants, à refroidir la solution pour effectuer la séparation du diphénol purifié et à récupérer le diphénol purifié. Application à la purification du bisphénol-A brut.
