Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif générateur d'énergie mettant en oeuvre des réactions de fusion. L'appareil comprend un coeur 2 de fusion ayant une configuration toroïdale et destiné à confiner un plasma de densité élevée. Le coeur peut être retiré des deux régions 4a et 4b d'un dispositif protecteur. Le déclenchement de réaction thermonucléaire est obtenu par introduction d'un gaz neutre capable de présenter une réaction de fusion, dans le plasma, de manière réglée afin que le chauffage par les particules chargées produites par la réaction de fusion assure le bouclage du dispositif à un régime à densité et température élevées. Application aux centrales à réacteur à fusion thermonucléaire.
