Abstract

Acier ferritique au chrome-nickel-molybdéne résistant à la corrosion. Dans cet acier, la teneur en niobium par rapport à la teneur en carbone présente une limite supérieure et une limite inférieure, et il en est de même pour la teneur totale en zirconium et aluminium par rapport à teneur en azote non fixé par le niobium. Cet acier, résistant parfaitement à la corrosion intercristalline, aux piqûres, à la corrosion fissurante et à la corrosion sous tension ainsi qu'aux attaques des solutions chlorurées et de l'acide sulfurique, même à chaud, peut être utilisé en particulier pour les échangeurs de chaleur, condenseurs, robinetteries, recipients sous pression, évaporateurs, pompes, installations de dessalage d'eau de mer et tous autres appareils exposés aux attaques chimiques de corrosion en question.
