Abstract

Appts. for mounting a sleeve filter which has a means of fixing elastically and simultaneously the sleeve to the frame and filter to its support, the seal being leak-proof preventing any fluid leaks through the support hole. The means of fixing comprise firstly a rigid element placed near the top of the frame and secondly a slightly elastic ring applied on the rigid element holding the top of the sleeve firmly against the rigid section. The top of the sleeve can be turned down forming a hem in which the ring is placed. The mounting and dismounting of the filter made in this way is very simple and does not demand the use of a specialised tool. The sleeve is not pierced by holding parts such as bolts which could lead to leakage problems. When the ring is enclosed in the hem it is preserved from deterioration.
