Abstract
L'invention décrit la séparation d'ions de métaux lourds d'une solution diluée On fait passer la solution dans un seul lit d'une matière d'absorption d'ions, le déplacement de la solution étant successivement vers l'avant et vers l'arrière, ou bien l'on fait passer la solution dans un premier lit de matière absorbante puis, dans un sens inverse d'écoulement, dans un second lit de matière absorbante. L'inversion du sens de l'écoulement permet d'agiter mécaniquement, périodiquement, un lit de matiere absorbante pour en déloger les impuretés comme de la gélatine. Les circuits utilisés comportent des soupapes de réglage du sens de l'écoulement de la solution. Une minuterie inverse, de préférence de façon automatique, le sens d'écoulement au bout d'une heure environ. On peut récupérer le métal lourd et régénérer la matière d'absorption des ions. Le procédé et l'appareil peuvent notamment servir pour épurer des solutions de traitement photographique.
