Abstract

Echelle pliante constituée par des échelons en forme de marche fixés à distance régulière à des câbles, bandes ou éléments analogues incombustibles. Les deux ailes 5, 6 du profilé en U constituant chaque échelon 4 vont en divergeant par rapport à la surface de la marche 7 et, quand l'échelle est repliée, se placent à cheval sur les ailes de l'échelon du dessous, en laissant libre un espace creux adapté à recevoir les tronçons de câbles entre échelons. Les câbles, bandes ou éléments analogues passent à chaque extrémité des échelons dans une ouverture unique les maintenant coincés. Application notamment aux échelles d'incendie et échelles de secours.
