Abstract

L'invention concerne la désulfuration des gaz de combustion. Procédé de strippage par la vapeur sous des pressions de 1,05 à 4,57 bars et aux températures élevées correspondantes de l'anhydride sulfureux de solutions organiques aqueuses tamponnées dans lesquelles il est absorbé; on obtient de la vapeur d'anhydride sulfureux qui est directement condensable par de l'eau de refroidissement ordinaire, sans la nécessité d'opérations de séchage, réfrigération ou compression, avec une consommation de vapeur qui n'est que d'un tiers ou de la moitié de celle requis dans un strippage sous pression atmosphérique. Le procédé de strippage sous pression super-atmosphérique s'applique à des solutions absorbantes de citrate, glycolate, glyoxalate ou acétate.
