Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé pour augmenter la proportion d'un énantiomère désiré d'un acide 2-arylpropionique, caractérisé en ce qu'on chauffe, à une température d'au moins 80 degrés C, un mélange constitué d'un diluant organique liquide inerte et d'un sel de l'acide 2-arylpropionique avec un énantiomère d'une base azotée organique chirale, la base et le diluant étant tels que le sel de l'acide racémique présente une solubilité de 0,1 à 10 % en poids/volume dans le diluant à la température opératoire, une proportion du sel étant non dissoute dans le diluant, grâce à quoi une partie d'un isomère optique du composant acide du sel est transformée en son énantiomère, et on recueille le sel dont le composant acide présente une proportion accrue prépondérante de cet énantiomère.
