La matière de protection intercalée consiste en plusieurs couches de tissu placées librement les unes sur les autres, ces couches présentant un haut allongement de rupture et ayant entre elles un faible coefficient de frottement. c. Ce vêtement de protection est particulièrement utile pour les motocyclistes.
