Abstract

La présente invention concerne un nouveau composé, le bis-(5,5'-diméthyl-1,3-oxazolidine-3-yl)méthane, ainsi qu'un procédé de préparation de celui-ci. Pour préparer le bis-(5,5'-diméthyl,1,3-oxazolidine-3-yl)méthane, on fait réagir de l'isopropanolamine avec du formaldéhyde en excès, à température élevée, et on élimine ensuite l'eau. On peut utiliser le bis-(5,5'-diméthyl-1,3-oxazolidine-3-yl)-méthane pour lutter contre les micro-organismes.
