Abstract

Dans ce procédé, on fait descendre les bois équarris, préalablement chargés sur un plan incliné, parallèlement entre eux et accolés les uns aux autres, l'un à la suite de l'autre, transversalement à eux-mêmes et par gravité, sur la table de travail où ils avancent ensuite pas à pas vers le plan de coupe, chaque bois prenant la place du précèdent lorsque le tronçonnage de l'un d'eux est terminé Dans la machine selon l'invention, la table de travail 3 est constituée par un plateau 3" et par un rebord 3' perpendiculaires entre eux, le plateau 3" étant incliné dans le sens transversal, un plan de chargement 9, également incliné, étant accolé au plateau sur son côté éloigné du rebord. On obtient ainsi une automatisation pratiquement complète de ce tronçonnage.
