Abstract

Système de fluide de forage contenant un polymère pour protéger les schistes. On réduit le coût du forage dans un schiste sensible à l'eau en augmentant d'abord la vitesse de forage en faisant circuler un fluide de forage clair, puis en évitant l'instabilité du trou de sonde due à l'interaction schiste-eau en faisant circuler une solution aqueuse de polyacrylamide hydrolysé à 10-20 % et d'halogénure de métal alcalin. On peut éviter l'instabilité du trou de sonde due à l'incompétence mécanique de formations souterraines en faisant circuler une suspension de bentonite préhydratée dans la solution de manière à améliorer le nettoyage du trou de sonde tandis qu'on continue la stabilisation du schiste.
