Abstract
Procédé de synthèse directe de ferrocènes (diyclopentadiényl fer) à partir du fer métallique et du cyclopentadiène monomère ou de ses dérivés. On électrolyse une solution de cyclopentadiène ou de ses dérivés, contenant des sels conducteurs, dans un solvant inerte entre une anode de fer et une cathode inerte vis-à-vis de l'électrolyte. Le ferrocène et ses dérivés présentent un intérêt industriel, car ils peuvent être utilisés comme catalyseurs pour le durcissement des résines polyester, comme catalyseurs de combustion pour la combustion sans fumée (additifs d'huile de chauffage), comme antidétonants, dans le domaine pharmaceutique comme préparations de fer, ainsi que comme monomères pour les polymères résistant aux températures élevées.
