Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour congeler des gouttes d'un produit liquide. Dans ce procédé l'on forme des gouttes en une pluralité d'emplacements espacés horizontalement au-dessus d'une partie présentant une surface libre d'une masse profonde de réfrigérant contenue dans un récipient ou une cuve, fait tomber individuellement lesdites gouttes à partir de chacun desdits emplacements dans ledit réfrigérant sous forme d'une succession rapide et assure un mouvement horizontal relatif entre lesdits emplacements de formation des gouttes et le réfrigérant constituant ladite partie présentant une surface libre de manière à réaliser dans ladite masse de réfrigérant un espacement horizontal entre les gouttes consécutives provenant de chacun desdits emplacements. Ce procédé est utilisé par exemple pour congeler les gouttes de sang.
