Abstract

Appareil d'enregistrement et/ou de lecture magnétique comprenant un ensemble transducteur à plusieurs têtes, des moyens d'entraînement servant à faire passer une bande magnétique devant l'ensemble de têtes et des moyens de guidage servant à guider la bande magnétique lorsqu'elle passe devant ledit ensemble de têtes. Les têtes 12p, 12q, 12r et les moyens de guidage ont une disposition relative telle que chaque tête correspond à une partie de la bande magnétique 15 décalée dans la direction de mouvement de la bande et dans une direction transversale à celle de ce mouvement, de sorte que chaque tête suit une piste 14p, 14q, 14r sensiblement parallèle aux bords de la bande sur au moins une portion de la longueur de ladite piste. Application à l'enregistrement et à la lecture d'informations.
