a. Procédé de préparation du RS-2,3,5,6-tétrahydro-6-phényl-imidazo (2,1-b)-thiazole. b. Il consiste à faire réagir la R,S- alpha -(2-hydroxyéthylaminométhyl)-benzylamine avec du bisulfure de carbone, à cycliser le R,S-N- Ø-2-(2-hydroxyéthylamino-)-1-phényléthylõ-amide de l'acide dithiocarbonique obtenu, en R,S-1-(2-hydroxyéthyl)-4-phényl-imidazolidine-2-thione que l'on soumet à son tour à une cyclodéshydratation. c. Industrie pharmaceutique.
