Abstract

L'invention concerne le traitement des solvants dégagés par les presses d'impression. Selon l'invention, les vapeurs de solvants dégagées par les encres d'une presse d'impression forment un courant de gaz à concentration élevée qui est préchauffé dans un lit de galets avant transmission à une chambre d'oxydation. Ces gaz peuvent être mélangés à des gaz de ventilation du sol de la salle contenant les presses. Selon l'invention, le préchauffage dans le lit de galets et la proportion des gaz sont tels que l'oxydation thermique est réalisée à une température convenable qui ne dépasse pas une valeur voulue. Application au traitement des gaz nocifs dégagés par les presses d'impression.
