Abstract

Procédé continu pour la préparation de bisphénols, selon lequel on fait réagir, dans une zone de réaction au moins deux moles d'un phénol avec un composé carbonylé en présence d'une résine échangeuse d'ions acide, on sépare l'effluent de la zone de réaction en deux courants, le premier courant comprenant le composé carbonylé n'ayant pas réagi, de l'eau et du phénol et le deuxième courant comprenant le bisphénol, des sous-produits de réaction et du phénol et on recueille le bisphénol à partir du deuxième courant. On recycle une partie 5 du deuxième courant 4 à la zone de réaction R avant d'en séparer le bisphénol. On augmente ainsi la concentration du bisphénol sans effet défavorable sur la résine.
